From routine to orthopedic, our vets are trained in a wide variety of different surgeries. Our clinic is equipped with advanced monitoring equipment that will help to ensure safe anesthesia during the surgery. All surgeries need to be first evaluated by one of our veterinarians prior to booking.
Yes. No food should be given after 10:00 pm the night before the procedure. Water is always okay to give up to the point of drop off at the clinic.
Each animal recovers at a different rate based on the drugs used during surgery, their age, and length of the surgery. The technician or doctor will call you after the surgery is completed and will usually be able to give an estimated time for your pet to go home.
Every surgery gets pre-anesthetic blood work, intravenous fluids throughout the surgery, and pain medication at a minimum. If anything extra is needed, a doctor will discuss it with you beforehand.
